Our mission at Your Housing Advocate (YHA) is to provide accessible, data-driven resources and support for landlords and tenants in the United States' affordable housing market. We aim to foster stability, promote equity, and build partnerships to enhance the quality of life for all involved in affordable housing. YHA disrupts barriers, transforms experiences, and collaborates with entities nationwide to create solutions and broaden access to crucial resources, working towards a future where affordable housing is a reality for all.

At Your Housing Advocate (YHA), our mission is to empower and support communities in their pursuit of accessible, affordable housing solutions across the United States. As the demand for affordable housing continues to rise, we are dedicated to providing easy-to-access, comprehensive resources for both landlords and tenants, using data from the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) and private sources. Our primary goal is to foster stability within the affordable housing market. YHA is committed to achieving this mission through a multifaceted approach.

We intend to secure private and public grant funding, form partnerships with fellow non-profits and private sector entities, and establish valuable relationships with state and local governments. These connections will enable us to deliver vital services and resources to landlords and tenants, ultimately strengthening the affordable housing landscape. 

Our organization operates with a collective impact approach, utilizing data-driven strategies to foster collaboration with local and national entities that share our commitment to serving the same populations. Through these alliances, we aim to enhance the quality of life for all individuals involved in affordable housing, ensuring that they are equipped to navigate local laws, processes, and available resources. This, in turn, empowers them to advocate for themselves at both the local and national levels. In pursuit of our mission, YHA is driven by the following three core goals:  

• Disrupting and removing barriers that hinder landlords and tenants in the affordable housing market.
• Transforming the tenant and landlord experience to be more equitable and just.
  
• Partnering with organizations and entities across the United States to co-create solutions and expand access to vital resources.
